Local Dialing Codes in New Zealand
New Zealand's country calling code is +64. The country is then divided into various areas with their own dialing codes. Some major areas are shown below.
You can drop the "0" when dialing from within the country on a landline but must include it on a cellphone.
New Zealand landline phone numbers have seven digits.
Telephone numbers for mobile phones begin with 02 (021, 022, 027 or 029), followed by seven to nine digits (usually eight).
